Gallery and registration form once again open!
Hello everyone! I am back from my week of offline-ness and out of town-ness, and am pleased to inform you that the gallery and its user registration form are both once again open for one and all! My apologies for any inconvenience the temporary closure of the gallery and its registration form may have caused, but I can assure it was a necessary evil. Just go to the gallery and you’ll now again find a “Register” link in the navigation.
There doesn’t really seem to be much news on Chloë at present, but I can now - at last - announce that revamping Chloë Sevigny Online is next on my to do-list. My most heartfelt apologies for the wait, but I promise you it will be worth it.

No updates December 22 - 28 2007!
Ahoy, everyone! As I will be heading out of the country tomorrow, Chloë Sevigny Online will unfortunately have no updates December 22-28 2007. I will have little to no time on the internet, and will be unable to respond to any emails or approve comments. Regular updates will again resume on December 29.
Attention! Please not that the gallery and gallery registrations will also be closed Dec 22-28 2007 for a number of reasons, and only registered members will be able to access the gallery. Registration will be opened again on December 29 (no sooner, no later). Kindly do not email me with registration requests as a) I will be unable to fill your requests, and b) I cannot read or respond to your messages. Unregistered members will have to wait until Dec 29 for the gallery and registration to re-open. Thank you.
Finally, happy holidays and merry Christmas, everybody! Have a good one. ;)

‘Big Love’ earns two Golden Globe nominations!
The 2008 Golden Globe nominations are in, and so is Big Love! Earlier today, Just Jared reported actors Hayden Panettiere, Ryan Reynolds and Quentin Tarantino announced the nominees at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, and Big Love earned nominations in the following categories:
|
Television - Best Series, Drama:
• Big Love, HBO |
Television - Best Actor, Drama:
• Michael C. Hall, Dexter |
Unfortunately, per usual, Chloë’s excellent portrayal of Nicki Grant on the series was ignored. Maybe next year, eh? Anyway, congratulations to the Big Love production team for the two Golden Globe nominations!

Chloë interviewed for New York Times Style magazine
Apologies for the delay in updates - things are just incredibly quiet with Chloë right now, and there have been no news on her for the longest time. Hopefully more regular updates will resume soon, once she becomes more active again.
Anyway, I do have a small treat for you today. Proenza Schouler’s designers Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough recently interviewed Chloë for the New York Times style magazine, T, and it is definitely one of her better interviews in my opinion. The interview is (naturally) quite fashion-oriented. Read full interview at NYTimes.com, below is an excerpt:
When we were asked to be a part of this blog and interview some of the people who have been of inspiration to us, Chloë Sevigny was at the top of our list. Chloë seems to be able to use fashion as a form of self expression while somehow making it look effortless. This sense of confidence and willingness to take risks is a fascinating quality that has somehow enabled her to become one of the most iconic personalities of our generation. [...]
What about fashion makes it so interesting to you? Is it another form of self-expression, of creating a character?
The huge amount of talent in fashion always blows my mind. There are so many perspectives and opinions. I find it limitless, and that’s what’s so fascinating. Plus, I love beautiful things.
